This role is responsible for overseeing daily registration and admissions workflows, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring a seamless, efficient, and compliant patient experience.This is an excellent opportunity for a strong operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality service.What You’ll DoLead and develop a Patient Access team, including Supervisors, Administrative Coordinators, and front-line staffOversee daily operations for patient registration, admissions, and access workflows to ensure efficiency and accuracyCoordinate team activities to maintain smooth patient flow and timely processingDevelop and implement policies and procedures related to patient admissions and billing audit processesEvaluate workflows and performance, ensuring efficient patient processing, optimal bed utilization, and compliance with federal and local regulationsMaintain high standards of service and performance, ensuring consistent quality across all department functionsDrive continuous improvement efforts in collaboration with senior leadership and system-wide Patient Access teamsManage department budget, including monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for improvementProvide HR leadership support, including coaching, performance management, and staff developmentRepresent Patient Access in meetings, committees, and cross-functional initiativesWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of experience in a healthcare setting, including 3+ years in a leadership roleExperience leading Patient Access, Registration, or front-end Revenue Cycle teamsStrong knowledge of patient admissions, registration workflows, and compliance requirementsExperience managing team performance, operations, and workflowsAbility to collaborate effectively across departments and leadership levelsStrong communication, organization, and leadership skillsEducationBachelor’s degree preferredEquivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degreeWork EnvironmentOn-site role at LifePoint Harris Regional Hospital– Sylva, NCCombination of sitting, standing, and extended computer useFast-paced, collaborative hospital environmentFor this US-based position, the base pay range is $65,099.03 - $81,373.79 per year .
