Job Summary / Basic Function The primary responsibility of this position is to provide one-to-one and group tutoring. In addition, the following duties may be expected: Assist students virtually on TEAMS in addition to face-to-face Prepare and present workshops Provide customer service on desk as needed; escorting students to staff, answering phone calls, taking messages, log students into computers Record student performance on a daily or weekly basis Record in-class activities by data entry and hard copy Assist in class tours and visits to the Academic Success Center Attend in-service training and marketing events on campus as needed Perform other duties as assigned Special Instructions to Applicants $19 to $26 per hour (pay determined by education and experience); maximum 28 hours per week. Transcripts required at time of interview. Recommended hire will be subject to pre‑employment screenings. Triton College is an AA/EOE. Qualifications Minimum qualifications: Education: high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must have completed at least 12 college credit hours with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Must have earned an “A” grade in the course assigned for tutoring. Additional Responsibilities Demonstrate a desire to help students. Strong understanding and use of Microsoft applications. Demonstrate knowledge of campus resources.
