Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications are required. Recommended skills include experience with stroke patients, ability to float between medical-surgical and telemetry units, and proficiency with EMR systems.
