RN - MS Tele

Registered NurseEvening/Night shifts, 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need. Must have two years of acute care experience within the last three years. Epic experience is required. BLS certification is required (AHA only). Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to starting. Patient care is provided in a fast-paced environment with a focus on high-quality care. Nurses will care for general care patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses. The unit offers an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care. Participation in quality improvement initiatives is encouraged. Collaboration in the development and evaluation of the multidisciplinary plan of care is expected. The nursing staff will work in a supportive and technologically advanced environment. Travelers are required to float to other units as needed. A telemetry exam must be passed prior to starting. There will be a strict passing criteria for the telemetry exam. The adult exam requires 100% identification of lethal rhythms, with specific criteria for passing. If the traveler fails the telemetry test, they may need to complete a cardiac interpretation review course before retaking it.
