Position Overview Job Title: Network QA Engineer Education: Associate's degree in technical related field 0-3 years of experience in 3G, 4G, 5G, LTE preferred Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly Location Plano, TX / Bellevue, WA / Englewood Cliffs Benefits & Perks Medical Insurance (Health, Dental & Vision) 401(k) Paid Time Off H1B/Green Card Sponsorship for qualified employee Hands‑on experience at global industry leader Samsung Opportunities for career advancement Summary Detail‑oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to be involved with all Quality Assurance activities including LTE and 5G Field Protocol, SIM OTA activation testing The main function of a QA mobile engineer is to develop and execute test strategies, plans, and validate UE functionality in 4G/5G air interface and call processing technology Ensuring UE (user equipment) meets QA and Carrier requirements The typical QA mobile test engineer will perform detailed analysis of 4G and 5G protocols, including field testing with mobile handset devices in live network Duties and Responsibilities Work in a mobile work environment (80% time on vehicle/field, 20% in office) Analyze customer requirements, convert them into system requirements and capture detailed design for the development team Assist in product & feature performance analysis, evaluation of new product & SW releases Analyze and troubleshoot issues reported from customer labs, field sites and production network Review and provide recommendations to improve UE performance by evaluating and trending key KPIs, performing trials and providing optimization guidelines Work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision Set up test plans to meet deadlines based on requests from the project lead Determine risk items based on issues found during the test Travel 25% of the time Skills & Qualifications Verbal and written communication skills, problem‑solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills Basic ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at one time Solid understanding of end‑to‑end LTE and 5G Network Architecture Strong knowledge of 4G and 5G air interface and call processing technologies and network architecture, specifically focused on Radio Access Network Familiarity or expertise in utilizing UE log post‑processing tools (QXDM, QCAT, Wireshark, ShannonDM) with good understanding of OTA signaling messages Ability to analyze and debug IMS‑related features including registration, VoLTE/VoWiFi/ViLTE/Conferencing/SMS/MMS/RCS Previous experience in post‑processing UE logs and analyzing various KPIs Previous experience in LTE and 5G NR field test experience in live network Good knowledge and familiarity in 5G NSA and SA Previous test experience with SIM OTA Activation #J-18808-Ljbffr JND
