High School RegistrarThe High School Registrar is responsible for the accuracy, security, maintenance, and reporting of student records. The registrar serves as the school's records manager and is often the primary point of contact for transcripts, enrollment records, graduation verification, and student data.Reports to PrincipalHigh School Diploma or equivalentEducation • Associate or bachelor's degree preferredExperience, Skill, and • Must be able to read and understand the English language.Certification • Experience with or ability to learn student information systems and platformsStrong attention to detail and data-entry accuracy.Knowledge of graduation requirements and state reporting.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Customer Service skills for working with students, parents, counselors, and administrators.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnter and maintain student demographic, attendance, and academic data in Student Information System and other areas as directed.Assist with enrollment counts, funding reports, and accountability reporting.Conducts data entry in preparation for state reporting including courses, schedules, grades, and all applicable coding for individual students.Provide reports to school and district leadership regarding FTE count, Student Records, and other required state and local reports as needed.Register new students: Request records from other schools, collect the necessary data including, but not limited to, health, discipline, technology, transportation, and proof of residency, birth certificate and social security number, IEP information if necessary.Prepare student data to send to transferring school on students withdrawing from school.Assist with transcript requests for existing student body (for colleges and scholarships) and former students to colleges and employers.Assist administration and counselors with scheduling and other duties as assigned.Work with district data coordinator regarding all high school Student Information System reports and requirements.Terms of 210-day Contract EmploymentApprovals: Principal Assistant Superintendents Superintendent
