This role will be for the Mesa, AZ area at one of our established practice locations and the hours are for 4 days/10-hour shifts. This role offers the chance to work with state-of-the-art SPECT and PET/CT technology, support highly specialized cardiac studies, and contribute to a program focused on accuracy, safety, and exceptional patient care./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3ulliProvide clear explanations of procedures and help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit./liliApply all radiation-safety principles to protect patients, yourself, and staff during every step of the imaging process./liliOperate and adjust nuclear medicine and PET/CT equipment for each exam, ensuring optimal image quality and proper patient positioning./liliPrepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocol; verify correct dosing for each study./liliClosely monitor patients for any unexpected reactions and respond appropriately./liliAcquire high-quality images, including repeat or additional views as needed based on physician guidance./liliDocument procedures, doses, QC checks, and patient information with accuracy and attention to detail./liliFollow all regulatory and institutional requirements for radiation safety, waste handling, and equipment QC./liliSupport daily workflow of the cardiac PET/CT program, including QA tasks, room prep, and scanner readiness./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliAssociate degree or higher in Nuclear Medicine Technology./liliActive certification through ARRT(N) or CNMT./liliIdeally at least 3 years of nuclear medicine experience, including PET or PET/CT./liliCurrent BLS certification./liliStrong communication skills, a calm patient-focused approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced cardiac environment./li/ulpWhy This Role Stands Out/pulliWork directly with an advanced cardiac PET/CT program./liliConsistent daytime schedule with predictable workflows./liliOpportunity to grow into cardiac-specific expertise, including rubidium or flurpiridaz imaging./liliSupportive leadership, strong clinical protocols, and an environment focused on quality and professional development./li/ul/div
