Dental Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will work alongside the dental team to provide high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include preparing patients for dental procedures, assisting the dentist during treatments, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a dental assistant program or on-the-job training. X-ray certification preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment. Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs. Take and develop dental x-rays. Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care. Maintain accurate patient records. Schedule patient appointments and process billing.
