RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Responsibilities

The Emergency Department (ED) and Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. The RN assesses, triages, and treats patients with a wide range of medical conditions, ensuring timely and effective care in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Job Title: Register Nurse (RN) – ED/Med Surg

Position Status: .9 fte (72 hours per pay period) - rotational days and nights (12-hour shifts), or option for straight nights if preferred. Two (2) weekends every six (6) weeks.

Department: Emergency & Med-Surgical Dept

Salary Range: $36.73 - $51.43 / per hour (based on experience) (Sign-On Bonus eligible!)

Qualifications

Minimum(s): Current State of Minnesota RN license is required. New graduates are welcome to apply. Current American Heart BLS certification is required. If not currently certified, training will be provided and certification must be obtained within 4 months of date of hire. Current American Heart ACLS certification is required. If not ACLS certified, we will train within the first year.

Preferred(s): ICU, ER, Medical, Surgical or OB experience

Competencies: Must work well under pressure and be sensitive to concerns and confidentiality of the patient. Ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds with professionalism and care. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
