Job Details Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36 Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel City: Franklin State: NC Job Title: Stepdown/PCU RN | Registered Nurse Responsibilities Monitor and coordinate patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Administer medications as ordered and document appropriately Assess patient needs, respond to changes in condition, and communicate with the health care team Transport patients as needed and maintain room cleanliness and supply stock Participate in on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required Collaborate with physicians and other health team members to provide high-quality care Qualifications At minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience preferred Graduate from an accredited school Certifications may be required based on facility requirements Physical abilities – remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment (50-100 lbs), pushing, bending and pulling Communication and collaboration with physicians and other health team members Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members Monitors patients’ responses to interventions and reports outcomes Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation Monitors and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies; transports patients as needed Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required Performs other duties as assigned Required Skills Interpersonal Skills – ability to work with diverse personnel while maintaining professionalism Technical Skills - ability to grasp, push/pull, and move while assisting with procedures or operating departmental equipment Cognitive Demands - ability to manage frequent interactions with the public and meet deadlines under pressure; comfortable with occasional close supervision or independent work Sensory Skills - keen visual understanding and practical communication abilities Benefits Competitive weekly pay Insurance (Health, Dental, Vision) Life Insurance 401(k) Referral Bonus Reimbursement for Licensure & CEU’s Refer-a-Friend Bonus Program EAP Program Weekly pay Holiday Pay Guaranteed Hours Continuing Education Company provided housing options Mileage reimbursement License and certification reimbursement Medical benefits Dental benefits Vision benefits Life insurance CrossMed Job ID #671528.
