Receiver Day Shift

Shift: Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun | 02:00 AM 10:30 AM Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

A Receiver plays a key role in warehouse and supply chain operations by managing incoming deliveries and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments from carriers and suppliers
• Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, or discrepancies
• Verify purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices
• Unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment
• Label, sort, and stage materials for storage or production
• Enter receiving data into ERP or inventory systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, AS400)
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies
• Communicate with purchasing, shipping, and production teams
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environments
• Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to be certified
• Basic computer skills (data entry, inventory systems)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift 2550+ lbs as needed
• Knowledge of shipping/receiving processes and documentation
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements

• ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, AS400, etc.)
• Forklift certification (sit-down, stand-up, pallet jack)
• Previous receiving or inventory control experience
