Software Engineer, Team Lead

Provides leadership and technical direction to a software development team within a specified product domain. Works to create and implement a long-term vision, orchestrate high-quality software implementation, and maintain, guide, and improve architectural integrity and evolution for their assigned area. Fosters high team morale, mentors and coaches team members, and ensures best practices and architectural guidelines are followed for their assigned area. Development Leads are also expected to do the following: Follow agile methodology Ensure daily standups happen Maintain 2 week sprints cycle Prioritize backlogs every sprint Ensure planning and retrospectives occur Ensure all code delivered by team is peer reviewed

Requirements: 5+ years JavaScript 3+ years MERN/MEAN Stack Experience building MV* frontend applications with Angular, React, Vue etc Experience with MongoDB and MySQL Experience developing CRUD/REST APIs Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Loopback, HAPI, Express, Koa etc Experience with source control systems like git or subversion Experience deploying high traffic applications using Node.js and MongoDB Experience with application containerization in production environements Experience deploying and managing applications on the Kubernetes platform Comfortable with ES2015 syntax Understanding of Functional Programming Understanding of Object Oriented Design Principles

Preferred Experience: Bachelor in Computer Science Experience in ECommerce or Fintech
