Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Step-down or ICU experience Description: This position involves providing care in a progressive care unit. The role requires monitoring patients with cardiac conditions. You will be working with a patient population that includes post-operative cardiac patients and individuals receiving cardioversions. The unit typically has a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1. Telemetry equipment will be utilized for patient monitoring. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach are essential for this role. Flexibility in handling changing situations is important. Candidates should possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher. The dress code includes navy scrubs, and offensive attire is not permitted.
