Join a team where your organizational skills directly support plant operations, our people, and our customers.Employment Type: Full-Time | Day Shift, Monday–FridayReports to: Shipping/Logistics Manager (dotted line to Plant Manager)Job Summary:Shipping & Receiving:Coordinate the daily inbound receipt of raw materials and outbound shipment of finished steel rolls, verifying quantities, condition, and accuracy against purchase orders, packing lists, and bills of lading (BOLs)Prepare and process key shipping documents — including BOLs, commercial invoices, packing lists, and export documentation — for both domestic and international freightPerform shipping and receiving transactions in the business system (Oracle), ensuring inventory records stay accurate and up to date in real timeSchedule and coordinate shipments with customers and carriers, confirming delivery windows, required documentation, and pickup/delivery times to align production and delivery deadlinesMaintain organized, audit-ready shipping and receiving records and filing systems in compliance with ISO 9001 quality requirementsResolve discrepancies between received goods and purchase orders (shortages, damage, or incorrect items) by coordinating with vendors and the purchasing teamPlant Support:Provide support to Plant operations, acting as a liaison between numerous groupsAdminister requisitions for supplies and servicesMonitor contracted services including plant security, grounds maintenance, and janitorial servicesRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent (GED); post-secondary education preferred1–3 years of administrative or supervisory experience preferredExperience with Oracle or similar ERP/business systems preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneouslyHigh attention to detail and sound independent judgmentCompetitive Wage, Medical, Dental, 401kEqual Employment Opportunities will be given to all applicants regardless of their race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, marital status, veteran status, non-job related physical or mental disability or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.Voluntary Self Identification of Race, Gender, Protected Veteran Status, and DisabilityPre-employment physical, background check and drug screening for all new hires
