Responsibilities
- Circulate during surgical procedures, assisting surgeons and the anesthesiologist; coordinate flow of equipment, supplies, and staff.
- Ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative phase of care and maintain patient advocacy.
- Participate in patient care planning, assessment, and nursing treatment within the perioperative cycle.
- Maintain aseptic technique, manage instrument counts, handle specimens, and participate in time-out procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team and document perioperative care and any changes in patient status.

Requirements
- Ability to work in a perioperative/surgical environment and support the operating room team.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and staff.
- Flexibility to rotate shifts and participate in a travel assignment.
