Position Immigration Attorney Location Sacramento, CA Job Type Full Time Benefits Yes Role Description Our client is seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join its Sacramento-based team in a full-time, on-site role. The attorney will handle a broad range of immigration matters, including defensive asylum cases, visa applications, and other complex immigration proceedings. Responsibilities include conducting client consultations, developing legal strategies, preparing and reviewing filings, performing legal research, and representing clients before immigration courts and government agencies. The successful candidate will provide high-quality legal counsel while working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve positive client outcomes. Qualifications Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration law, particularly defensive asylum, visas, and related immigration matters. Experience handling immigration cases, including client consultations and preparation of legal documents. Thorough understanding of immigration regulations, policies, and procedural requirements. Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively while maintaining strong organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and legal professionals. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar. Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment. Multilingual abilities are a plus.
