Job Description Medical Director of Neurology – Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware Position Summary We are excited to announce a full‑time Medical Director of Neurology position at Nemours Children’s Health in Wilmington, DE. The Division of Neurology is in a period of growth and transformation across its clinical, educational, and research missions. The successful candidate will contribute to building and shaping this evolving Division. Requirements include a strong background as a team builder, teacher, and clinician with subspecialty expertise in neurology. Responsibilities include overseeing clinical operations, including patient workflows and clinical guidelines, and optimizing the neurology program within a matrixed leadership structure. The candidate must have exceptional communication skills, leadership experience in clinical operations, and training in a relevant neurology subspecialty. Interest in and a track record of clinical research is an asset. Protected research time may be negotiated based on experience. The Division provides inpatient and outpatient services in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. The role includes practice locations at the main Wilmington campus and satellite sites in southern Delaware and potentially Maryland. All levels of experience, including recent fellowship graduates who are board‑eligible, will be considered. Qualified candidates should have experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team with medically complex conditions.
