Line Cook - Earn $23-$30+/Hour (Base Pay + Tips)

Greek Islands Cuisine is looking for a dependable, hardworking Line Cook to join our team in Richland, WA (600 Gage Blvd). We offer competitive base pay plus a generous tip pool, with team members typically earning an additional $5-$10+ per hour in tips .

This position starts as part-time, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
Work quickly and accurately during busy service periods
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
Supervise and delegate tasks to other team members
Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary
Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
Work as part of a team to deliver an exceptional guest experience
Performs other duties as assigned by the head chef or management

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen is required
Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification
Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
Excellent time management skills
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
