Waste Water Technician I

Responsibilities Perform basic chemical analysis such as pH, flash point, FOG, solids, and ammonia. Operate a variety of equipment including pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, and other power tools in accordance with company policies and procedures and Occupational Health and Safety requirements. Sample tanker trucks and containers. Connect hoses and unload tanker trucks. Use basic oil line and wastewater treatment line operations. Assist with the operation of sludge transfer and dewatering systems. Submit all associated paperwork required for regulatory and safety record keeping. Qualifications Less than 1 year of experience. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Wastewater Technician Certification preferred. Ability to kneel, crawl, stoop, bend, and twist for extended periods. Ability to lift or carry over 50 pounds. Ability to pass a respirator fit test. Consistent ability to work in various weather conditions. Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces. Experience in NetSuite. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
