Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00–18:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting at a short-term acute care teaching facility
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in accordance with unit standards
• Participate in on-call assignments as assigned per unit need, including one call weekend per month
• Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
• Float to other units or nearby facilities based on skill set and organizational need
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submittal — post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility to be considered a local candidate; locals are welcome to apply
• Background must be clear — facility does not accept Nursys or background hits
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience (within the last 3 years) required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on experience
• Familiarity with cardiovascular surgical procedures and OR protocols
• Flexibility to float between sister facilities as needed
