Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location

Boston, MA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Shifts | Day/Evening Rotation | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care across a high-volume, 17-room OR staffed 24/7, supporting a broad range of surgical services including general, GYN, GU, oral, OTO, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatric, trauma, and spine
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required, with competency expected in at least 5 surgical service lines
• Adapt to day and evening start times (7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM) based on rotation schedule
• Participate in every 3rd weekend coverage as needed and every other holiday rotation
• Fulfill on-call obligations approximately once per schedule period
• Float to an additional OR location within the system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient Operating Room experience
• Scrub experience required
• Competency in at least 5 of the listed surgical service lines
• BLS certification required
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent communication skills
• Candidates who reside less than 50 miles from the facility may be subject to a local pay rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
• Neuro and vascular surgical service experience preferred
• Scrub experience beyond general, GYN, and GU specialties preferred
