They are responsible for creating day‑making experiences through delivering unparalleled guest service, making world‑class hand‑crafted beverages, and bringing the Purpose and Values of Caribou to life in every interaction. Core Responsibilities Provide incredible Guest Service by developing personal ongoing relationships with guests, practicing active listening and connection, anticipating guest needs and proactively solving guest opportunities through product knowledge and hospitality, and making enthusiastic, knowledgeable recommendations to delight guests. Create day‑making experiences: hand‑craft beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures; heat, prepare, and serve Caribou food offerings per SOP. Float between barista and guest service, fulfilling all team member roles and responsibilities. Takes guest orders and manages the cash drawer, following all cash handling policies and procedures. Maintain store appearance by following cleanliness, sanitization, and organization standards. Actively think and act on future team and guest needs, differentiating problems that can be solved directly from those requiring leader support. Skills & Qualifications Must be at least 16 years old. Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays, and/or weekends. Preferred: experience in restaurant, retail, or guest service. Physical Requirements Seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching. Lifting up to 50 pounds. Sitting, standing, bending, and moving intermittently for 4‑8 hours. Must be able to perform these duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
