Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to identify patient needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, integrating their cultural considerations and addressing specific recovery goals.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to individual, couples, and group therapy settings.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care for patients facing acute challenges.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and ethical standards are upheld.
  • Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families, helping them understand mental health conditions and empowering them with coping strategies.
  • Assess treatment effectiveness through regular outcome evaluations, adjusting care plans as needed to meet evolving patient needs.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health to continuously enhance your clinical approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to support individuals undergoing detoxification and recovery. You will work with a diverse group of patients, including those dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. Your interventions will be critical in establishing trust and safety, helping clients navigate their emotional challenges during a vulnerable phase of their lives.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.
  • An active State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from various cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective documentation and team collaboration.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in a detox or addiction treatment setting is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and a solid understanding of mental health diagnostics.
  • Previous experience developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
