Registered Nurse - Telemetry

$2080.80/week - Job Summary: Provides comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients in a telemetry setting, ensuring adherence to standards of practice and the nursing process. Oversees and collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver safe, effective, and coordinated patient care. Responsibilities: Assess patient needs by collecting relevant health data and analyzing assessment findings. Develop and implement individualized care plans aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes. Coordinate care delivery across disciplines, ensuring safe practices and timely interventions. Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet clinical goals. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and discharge planning. Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise nursing staff to maintain high-quality care. Qualifications: Must hold a current RN licensure in the state of practice. Require at least two years of recent experience in a clinical setting, preferably in telemetry. Maintain current BLS certification from an approved vendor. Must have experience with Epic electronic health records system. Ability to float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed. Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
