Restaurant Management - Leadership Development Program

Southern Classic Chicken

Baton Rouge, LA

Job Description

Job Description

Southern Classic Chicken is growing, and we're excited to announce the opening of our third Baton Rouge restaurant in late 2026.

We're looking for exceptional leaders at every level of management who want more than a job. We're looking for people who want to develop others, build great teams, and create experiences that keep our guests and team members coming back.

If you lead with Courage, Heart, Integrity, Grit, and Family, we want to hear from you.

Management Opportunities:
  • General Manager
  • Assistant General Manager
  • Kitchen Manager
  • Shift Manager
  • Management Trainee
Whether you're an experienced restaurant leader or a high-performing team member ready for the next step, this is an opportunity to help shape a brand-new restaurant from the ground up.

Train With the Best !

Before joining the opening team, management trainees will complete a comprehensive leadership development program in both our Baton Rouge and Shreveport training restaurants.

This hands-on experience will prepare you to:
  • Lead high-performing teams
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Master restaurant operations
  • Develop future leaders
  • Build a culture our team members are proud to be part of
Applicants must be willing to train in both Baton Rouge and Shreveport before the new restaurant opens.

We want leaders who:
  • Live our values of Courage, Heart, Integrity, Grit, and Family
  • Take ownership and lead by example
  • Coach and develop others
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Hold themselves and their teams accountable
  • Want to grow with a company that continues to invest in its people
Restaurant management experience is preferred for senior leadership positions. Leadership potential, work ethic, and a desire to learn are essential for Management  opportunities.

At Southern Classic Chicken, our mission is simple:

To Bring You Back.

That mission extends beyond serving great food. We strive to create an experience that brings our guests back and a workplace that brings our team members back each day because they feel valued, challenged, and supported.

If you're ready to help launch our newest restaurant and make a lasting impact, we'd love to meet you.

Opening: Late 2026
Training Begins: Prior to restaurant opening
