Anticipated Paraeducator, Eden Central School Starting Date: Jul 1, 2026 Job Description Eden Central School is anticipating the need for a caring and collaborative paraeducator to work within our joyful community of learners. The ideal candidate will assist in the educational and social development of learners under the direction and guidance of special educators and classroom teachers. Assist in supporting learners’ Individual Education Plans under the direction of the classroom teacher and special educator. Provide support for individuals, small groups, and classroom-size groups of learners inside and outside the classroom. Work with other professionals, such as speech therapists, student support, occupational and physical therapists, to support learners. Assist and partner with classroom teachers to meet the needs of each individual. Use positive supports for learners with emotional or behavioral needs. In addition, the ideal candidate will: Participate in all professional learning opportunities as designated. Perform all duties as assigned.
