Sr. Client Associate, Latin America Private Banking & Wealth Management

Position Overview Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is recruiting a Senior Client Associate (Sr CA) to join our Latin America private banking team in our New York office within the Capital Partners line of business. The Sr CA will provide primary support to multi‑family office (MFO) LATAM client relationships. Responsibilities Relationship Management – Independently serve as the primary support for all client relationships with minimal oversight; act as the first point of contact for client questions (e.g., tax checks, wire transfers, charitable gifts, client portal logins); oversee transactional activity and coordinate internally; proactively communicate with clients and manage onboarding. Investment Execution – Own account activity with senior RM, manage client communication and operations, guide junior associates in troubleshooting account issues, create communications for asset transfers, maintain meeting notes, and act as primary interface with BBH central teams. Risk Management & Administration – Exercise professional judgment, ensure compliance with investment policies, KYC, documentation, and risk reports; elevate issues to senior RM and oversee account maintenance. Business & Professional Leadership – Engage in professional networking to cultivate referrals; stay current on market activity; demonstrate professional behavior and serve as a model for peers. Qualifications BA/BS degree. 5+ years of relevant experience in a client support role within wealth management/private banking. Fluency in Spanish (professional proficiency or native). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects. Team‑oriented interpersonal skills and analytical research ability. Independent, proactive client service orientation and strong time management. Location & Compensation Hybrid: 4 days per week in the New York City office. Base salary $100k‑$120k, plus annual bonus.
