Overview Data Engineer – Matillion Migration (Contract) Location : Remote - US Based. Duration : 6-12+ months We’re looking for a Data Engineer with strong ETL migration expertise to accelerate a major Matillion-to-Snowflake migration in the utilities sector. This role offers the chance to drive impactful data infrastructure modernization while collaborating with agile teams. Responsibilities Lead technical delivery of Matillion-to-Snowflake migration projects Collaborate with internal data engineering teams in agile sprints Ensure minimal disruption to operational data flows during migration Apply utilities-specific domain knowledge to optimize data models and ETL processes Requirements Proven experience with Matillion ETL (migration and optimization) Hands-on Snowflake and cloud data architecture expertise (AWS preferred) Strong SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning skills Prior experience in utilities, energy, or ERP data environments Please apply with an up to date resume Notes Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Focus Cloud Group.
