We're seeking compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to join a highly respected behavioral health organization serving the Mesa community.


In this role, you'll work alongside nurses, therapists, and providers to support patients experiencing mental health crises, substance use disorders, homelessness, and other behavioral health challenges. What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  
  
• Monitor patient safety, behavior, and overall well-being
  
  
• Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts when needed
  
  
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
  
  
• Document patient observations, behaviors, and interactions accurately
  
  
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and behavioral health professionals to support patient treatment plans
  
  
• Help individuals navigate behavioral health, substance use, and crisis-related challenges with dignity and compassion

Schedule & Shift Differentials

• Weeknight Differential (Monday-Thursday Nights): +10%
  
  
• Weekend Day Differential (Saturday-Sunday): +$1.00/hour
  
  
• Weekend Night Differential (Friday-Sunday Nights): +$2.00/hour

What We're Looking For


Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
  
  
• Associate degree or
  
  
• Minimum of 2 years of experience and/or post-secondary education in a healthcare, behavioral health, or related setting

Preferred Experience

• Behavioral health, psychiatric, crisis stabilization, or substance use treatment experience
  
  
• Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
  
  
• Comfortable participating in CPI interventions and safety holds when necessary
  
  
• Familiarity with Title 36 processes and behavioral health regulations
  
  
• Experience working with vulnerable or underserved populations

Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Pay Details: $16.00 to $23.00 per hour
