Position Description Job Title: SCC Student Manager Department: Statistics Consultation Center (SCC) Reports To: SCC Director Location: RemoteEmployment Status: Part-time Summary The SCC Student Manager manages day-to-day operations of the SCC, the goal of which is to provide PAU graduate students, post-docs, and faculty with statistical consultation services for research projects (i.e., dissertation, conference presentation, manuscript submissions). Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Assign student statistics consults to SCC consultants.
- Develop and maintain campus statistics resources repository, training new consultants.
- Meet with SCC director as needed.
- Provide consultation to students on a variety of advanced statistical analyses.
- Teach students how to use statistical packages such as: SPSS, R, and MPlus.
- PAU Student
- Completion of RM&S I, II, and III, and psychometrics courses
- One year experience in the SCC
- DESIRED: Experience as TA for RM&S and/or psychometrics courses
- DESIRED: completion of coursework and/or other applied experience in additional statistics/quantitative methods (e.g., structural equation modeling)
