Oncologist

Overview University of California, San Francisco. Assistant, Associate or Full Clinical Professor in Neuro-Oncology within the Department of Neurological Surgery and Department of Neurology. Applicants should be board eligible or certified in Neurosurgery, Neurology, or Medical Oncology with additional subspecialty training in Neuro-Oncology at the time of hire. Materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission. The Neuro-Oncology Program emphasizes clinical research with capabilities in phase-1 and phase-2 studies. Additional interest in translational research or correlative science linked to clinical trials is preferred. The Neuro-Oncology Program focuses on clinical research in primary glioma (newly diagnosed and recurrent). The program is supported by the Brain Tumor Center and related basic and translational scientists. The successful applicant would be appointed at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Health Sciences Clinical, Clinical X, or In Residence Series depending on experience and background. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay by rank and step at appointment. Minimum base salary range for this position is $154,700 – $405,900. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan with eligibility for additional compensation.
