Job Title: Stepdown/IMC/PCU | RN - Registered Nurse
Location: Wheeling, WV

Pay Range: 2127.04 - 2233.39
Schedule: 12's: Must be on the unit ready to go by 6:45 am/pm. Shifts run from 7a - 7p. Self-scheduling is allowed as long as the needs of the unit are met. Staff are allowed 4 requested days off per month
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with intermediate care acuity, including chest pain, arrhythmias, CHF, and post-procedure management.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips independently, with support from Tele Techs.
• Titrate drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Labetolol, Nitro, and Heparin.
• Manage respiratory equipment operated by RTs and assist with patient assessments and treatment plans.
• Float as needed into telemetry or MedSurg units, maintaining ratios up to 1:6 to 1:7 in MedSurg.
