Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

Join a Level I Trauma, academic hospital in Albany, NY as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. The CT Technologist performs CT procedures, assists in clinical evaluation and patient care, and provides safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging for outpatients, inpatients, emergency and trauma patients, research participants, and those requiring CT-guided procedures. Technologists support teaching activities and maintain radiation safety in accordance with New York State Department of Health regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved radiologic technology program (minimum two-year or equivalent).
• New York State registration in Diagnostic Radiography or a limited permit to practice in New York.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and academic medical center environment.
• Entry-level candidates considered; MIT level assigned based on skill set and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating CT equipment in a hospital setting, including trauma and intensive care environments.
• Experience performing CT-guided procedures and working with research protocols.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1200-2230.
• Mid shift schedule.
