Job Summary

we are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join its Cardiopulmonary team. This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the chance to work across multiple patient care settings.

Position Highlights

• Full-Time Permanent Position
• Salary: $71,000 – $105,000 annually
• Various shifts available
• Work in Critical Care, ER, Medical Floors, Pulmonary Function Lab, Radiology, and CT
• Opportunity to work with neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and oxygen therapy
• Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators
• Perform pulmonary function testing (PFTs)
• Assist with airway management and emergency respiratory care
• Participate in Code Blue/CPR response teams
• Perform arterial blood gas draws and other diagnostic procedures
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
• Current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license (or eligible upon hire)
• RRT credential required (CRT considered with commitment to obtain RRT within 12 months)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred
• New graduates encouraged to apply
• Critical Care, ER, Pediatric, or Transport experience preferred
