HR Generalist

NYCOA is seeking a highly motivated HR Generalist to support the day‑to‑day human resources operations at their Manchester, New Hampshire facility. In this role, you will play a key part in fostering a positive workplace culture while supporting employees and leadership across a variety of HR functions. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on company policies and resolving workplace concerns. Manage the full‑cycle recruitment process, including posting roles, screening candidates, and supporting a smooth onboarding experience. Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and assist in maintaining and updating HR policies and employee handbooks. Administer employee benefits and support payroll processes to ensure accuracy in compensation and leave tracking. Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and performance improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. PHR or SHRM‑CP is highly desirable. 3–5 years of HR generalist experience including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration required. Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms (Paychex required, ADP a plus) and Microsoft Office. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Excellent project management, organizational, and time‑management skills. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Location Onsite at the Manchester, New Hampshire facility.
