Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: Decatur, AL 35601

Contract: 9 weeks

Shift: 6:45 AM to 7:15 AM

Pay Rate: #####/hour

Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, symptoms, and medical history.
Monitor and record patient's condition, noting any changes or abnormalities.
Administer prescribed medications, including oral, injectable, and topical forms.
Monitor medication effectiveness and observe for any adverse reactions
Provide wound care, including cleaning, disinfection, and dressing changes.
Monitor wound healing and report any signs of infection or complications.
Insert and maintain IV lines for patients receiving fluids, medications, or blood products.
Monitor IV sites for signs of complications and ensure proper infusion rates
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care practices.
Offer guidance on managing chronic conditions, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence.
