Location: Decatur, AL 35601
Contract: 9 weeks
Shift: 6:45 AM to 7:15 AM
Pay Rate: #####/hour
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, symptoms, and medical history.
- Monitor and record patient's condition, noting any changes or abnormalities.
- Administer prescribed medications, including oral, injectable, and topical forms.
- Monitor medication effectiveness and observe for any adverse reactions
- Provide wound care, including cleaning, disinfection, and dressing changes.
- Monitor wound healing and report any signs of infection or complications.
- Insert and maintain IV lines for patients receiving fluids, medications, or blood products.
- Monitor IV sites for signs of complications and ensure proper infusion rates
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care practices.
- Offer guidance on managing chronic conditions, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence.
