Senior Consultant, Nursing

Position Summary Senior Consultant – Nursing Consulting team at PressGaney. Responsibilities Utilize PressGaney and client data assets and resources to consult with client stakeholders, respond to industry change, and identify opportunities for improvement and growth in complex situations while adapting to changing circumstances and new requirements. Partner with clients to complete data analysis, data interpretation, and process design to identify, recommend, and solve business problems. Construct and/or lead data analysis to support a wide range of payer analytics, including authorization metrics and denial rates, observations and behavior assessments, and summary conclusions and recommendations. Serve as an effective trainer to ensure active engagement and effective knowledge transfer for patient experience best practices and process improvement. Coordinate actions to get work completed efficiently, delegating and leveraging appropriate internal and client resources. Manage and deliver defined scope of engagement plans including timelines, deliverables, budget and outcomes. Lead preparation of client deliverables, including data analyses, assessments, quality reviews, training, and presentations. Build and manage successful client relationships, generating positive client feedback on quality, value, innovation, delivery, and results. Serve as the direct point of contact with the client, quickly establishing credibility for the respective project work stream by proactively building strategic working relationships. Communicate effectively and appropriately to influence various audiences and levels of client management, including risks and recommendations to project management. Plan, organize and prioritize project activities using work plans and other project management tools. Qualifications 5+ years of nursing work with experience designing systems and processes. Experience designing strategies that help nurses connect with those in their care. Past experience in training and coaching nursing teams. Demonstrated experience driving performance improvement initiatives. Strong data analytics skills (Excel, Access, SQL, SAS, etc.). Advanced skills in MSOffice products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for document preparation. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and adapt to multiple priorities. Experience working in a Magnet‑designated healthcare organization (per the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®) with a focus on professional training, education or leadership development is a strong plus. Consulting experience is preferred. Education: BSN required; MSN preferred. Location Remote (U.S.based) or based in our Chicago, Boston, or SouthBend hubs. For in‑office employees, a hybrid schedule (Tuesdays–Thursdays in‑office). Travel: up to 75% nationally. Compensation The expected base salary for this position ranges from $110,000to $140,000. In addition to base salary, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results. Benefits Competitive benefits package.
