Royal Palms Road Ste. 1 Phoenix, AZ 85021, USA Description The Role You will provide direct psychiatric care to adults living with serious mental illness, including schizophrenia spectrum disorders, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and treatment-resistant conditions. You will work alongside psychiatrists, psychiatric NPs, on-site PCP, on-site pharmacist, nurses, case managers, and peer support specialists in a collaborative, team-based model. How You’ll Make an Impact Comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnostic clarification, and treatment planning Ongoing psychopharmacologic management, including clozapine and long-acting injectable antipsychotics Ability to integrate brief therapy during your visits as appropriate, to maximize clinical outcomes Consultation with colleagues on complex or treatment-resistant cases Providing psychiatric care for members on Court Ordered Treatment (COT) as part of your overall caseload Coordination with primary care, pharmacy, and inpatient teams during care transitions Opportunity to mentor and teach psychiatry residents during clinical rotations at our site Why This Role Matters Behind every diagnosis is a human being with a story, goals, and the capacity for change. Experience At least one year experience as a full time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority following NP Licensure, or 5 years as a Psychiatric Registered Nurse prior to NP licensure Licensed by the State of Arizona; and valid DEA Certification. Must maintain current CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Options Certifications.Completion of an accredited NP program with Psychiatric Mental Health Certification or ANCC Certified as Psy-NP. Master’s degree in a social science field or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
