About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Accounting to lead its global, remote-first, technology-enabled services business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting activities, including financial reporting, accounting operations, internal controls, tax, treasury, and audit readiness. This senior finance leadership role demands a hands-on executive with a strategic mindset, capable of modernizing the accounting function and implementing AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and productivity. The VP of Accounting will also be involved in M&A integration, and process harmonization, and will be expected to partner with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and financial visibility. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive accounting leadership experience, with a strong preference for those holding a CPA. Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, and experience with NetSuite and emerging finance technologies is essential. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in a growth-stage, multi-entity, or global organization, and experience in capital raises, and financial diligence is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong executive presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders. A background in technology, renewable energy, or infrastructure, and knowledge of UAV operations and regulations, is also advantageous.
