Job Summary Do you enjoy working in a fast‑paced, safety‑obsessed aviation environment? As a Warehouse Agent , you will be essential to increase operational efficiency, company profitability, and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing inbound and outbound shipments. Key Responsibilities Facilitate the loading and unloading of cargo to and from trucks. Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents when accepting or delivering cargo. Issue an appropriate warehouse receipt or collect a signed copy of the delivery receipt. Ensure that cargo has a proper release issued by office personnel before delivery to a consignee or agent. Operate basic cargo handling equipment such as forklifts, aircraft pallets, and pallet jacks. Break down cargo from import flights, sort as required, check freight against the manifest and store in the proper location in the warehouse. Build up cargo for export flights, following the supervisor’s instructions. Keep inventory of on‑hand freight, warehouse supplies, airline equipment and containers. Maintain security of the cargo and company equipment, reporting tampering or pilferage and incidents to the supervisor. Maintain the work area in a clean condition, reporting damaged or broken equipment to the supervisor. Accept related assignments from lead agents, supervisors or management. Complete paperwork and forms connected with work assignments, entering data into the company’s information system. Follow company procedures and protocols to operate safely and responsibly. Complete training required by the company, airport governing authority or customer. Be on time, be prepared and be safe. Be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and moving items weighing 70 pounds (32 kg) or more regularly; lifting 40‑50 pound items on raised surfaces repetitively. Walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, and stooping frequently and for extended periods. Alertness to moving vehicles and use of radio equipment to communicate with crew and airport authorities. Tolerance for machinery noise. Qualifications At least 18 years of age. High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Authorization to work in the United States (as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986) or in Canada (as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act of 2001). Completion of ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security. Ability to secure a Customs Seal through the respective governing agency if required. Preferred Qualifications One or more years of relevant experience.
