Bench Mechanic MRO (Aerospace Mfg.) 2nd Shift 3:00pm to 11:30pm

TAT Technologies Tulsa Site serves as the company's center of excellence for heat transfer manufacturing and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services. We are looking for an experienced Bench Mechanic to work 2nd shift typically 3:00pm to 11:30pm with overtime and weekends as needed for our MRO operations. Responsibilities This position will support MRO Operations Perform on-site maintenance, inspections and repairs Assist in retaining and maintaining all on-site records in both hard copy and electronic form Continuously update and utilize an electronic, online maintenance tracking mechanism to allow for efficient maintenance planning, time limit item tracking Adhere to company policies including all safety compliances Manages material readiness, inventory and accountability of all maintenance related materials, specifically aviation parts, and tooling Read and understand Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, and Structural Repair Manuals Other duties as assigned to meet production demands Qualifications Ability to work 2nd shift hours typically 3:00pm to 11:30pm with overtime and weekends as business need demands High School education or equivalent 2 or more years mechanical experience preferred Must have reliable transportation Must be able to accomplish any and all duties with little or no assistance following new employee training Must have good command of the English language; oral and written Must have good communication skills Must be able to multi-task and be detail oriented Must be able to display good judgement regarding quality & safety Must be willing and able to learn and apply new skills Working knowledge and ability to do industrial math calculations and work to tight tolerances Must be able to perform physical requirements: ability to stand for 8 hours or more and lift up to 50 pounds Must have the ability to pass pre-hire and ongoing, random drug testing as required as a Department of Transportation (DOT) facility regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Must have the ability to pass pre-hire background check screening Benefits TAT Technologies is dedicated to providing an inclusive, fun, and unique workplace.
