Job Summary Speech Therapist to provide home‑health care directly to patients in the comfort of their homes, helping adults overcome speech, language, cognitive‑communication, and swallowing challenges. Provide aural rehabilitation, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) solutions, and other related services. Compensation Salary: $45/hr to $52.50/hr. Sign‑on bonus: $5,000. Responsibilities Prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults. Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and provide AAC systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Requirements Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) with completed graduate coursework and a clinical practicum at an accredited program by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech‑Language Pathology (CAA). Current CPR certification. Preferred One year of experience in speech pathology. Note : If the SLP‑CCC certification has not been obtained the candidate must be put into the SLP Clinical Fellow (100910) job. Clinical Fellowship (CFY) is the transition between student and independent which involves an SLP supervisor, hour requirements, and mentoring.
