What you'll do as a CNC Programmer/Machinist:
- Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Creating and modifying CNC programs
- Selecting cutting tools and speeds
- Setting up and operating CNC machines
- Troubleshooting machining issues
- Developing and programming various machines with CAD/CAM software and g-code
An ideal CNC Programmer Machinist may have:
- Prior experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) and G-code
- Knowledge of machining requirements and standards
- Goals to work collaboratively with a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
