Key Highlights Weekly pay range: $1,999–$2,055 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift (3x12) Start date: 08/31/2026 Setting: Emergency department in a critical access hospital; requires EPIC EMR experience ER and ICU experience preferred Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the ED, including triage, initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, and documentation Administer medications and IV therapy; manage pain control and patient comfort; monitor hemodynamics andVital signs Perform procedures as needed, assist physicians, and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team Document all patient care in EPIC EMR; ensure accurate records, HIPAA compliance, and timely communication with care providers Respond to emergent events, initiate appropriate interventions, and participate in patient safety and infection control practices Support discharge planning and patient education; collaborate with ancillary services and coordinate ad hoc patient needs Occasional float to ICU or other units as workload and unit needs allow Requirements Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program Licenses: Current California RN license Experience: At least two years of recent RN experience; acute critical care experience within the last 12 months, or EMT and ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years of experience Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS; MICN desirable to be completed within one year; NRP, TNCC, and CEN encouraged IT/EMR: Proficiency with EPIC EMR required Skills: Basic computer literacy; ability to work in a fast-paced ED/ICU environment; strong communication and teamwork capabilities Other: Ability to work night shifts; vaccination as a condition of employment (medical or religious exemptions may apply); employer participates in E-Verify Benefits and Support E-Verify participation Vaccination policy: required as a condition of employment with exemptions where applicable Credentialing and onboarding assistance Assignment support through the staffing organization to facilitate a smooth start and commute Pay Disclaimer Rule Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
