We are looking for a Sr. Product Owner who possesses a wide breadth of experience in enterprise level environment with a focus on building out cutting-edge technology products! The ideal candidate for this role should have a passion for tackling the tough problems and ability to do so with minimal day-to-day guidance! Top Skills: 5+ years of experience working as a Product Owner within software development, data engineering, AI/ML, or cloud development Experience working with teams in cutting-edge cloud environments, preferably AWS Deep understanding and execution of product road mapping, backlog grooming, and product delivery from PoC through production Excellent communication skills Desired Qualifications
- Ability to take control of situations and make the best decision for both the business and development teams to achieve common goals
- Ability to translate and communicate business needs to new development teams to set direction and focus
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Experience with Jira
- Defines and manages product roadmap from PoC to production
- Work with C-Suite and other senior leadership via steering meetings and presentations for product updates
- Manages the sprint planning process and participate in all relevant ceremonies (reviews of prior sprints, grooming, retrospectives, etc.)
- Understands business processes and procedures as they apply to creating state-of-the-art technology products
- Writes detailed functional specifications, user stories and product documentation
- Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather "buy-in” on products to help ensure long-term viability
- Partners with key technical staff to confirm the overall solutions meet business requirements
- Collaborates with the business stakeholders on all aspects from vision to realistic production usage of the product
