Manager Nursing Informatics

Hybrid Remote-3 days onsite

Provides direct leadership and oversight for the Nursing Informatics team guiding the adoption and optimization of technologies that enhance patient family and clinician experiences. Supervise day-to-day system operations application improvements and routine maintenance to ensure reliable functionality across inpatient outpatient and perioperative care environments.

Defines project and implementation objectives manages application configuration and stabilization and serves as the primary liaison to Information Technology clinical and business process champions and subject matter experts. Supports clinical integration projects develops action plans to remove project barriers and ensures informatics solutions effectively align technology with clinical workflow organizational goals and supports the mission of Seattle Childrens Hospital.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited school of of two (2) years Nursing Informatics experience (or equivalent).Demonstrated leadership experience.

Required Credentials
Current Washington State or Multistate (MSL) RN license.A copy of bachelors degree or higher in nursing or transcripts indicating attainment of bachelors degree or higher in nursing is to be on record with Human Resources upon or healthcare related professional board certification in a clinical specialty area or leadership on hire or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire and must be maintained thereafter. Certification must be recognized by the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) and approved by Seattle certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers. This is a condition of hire and must be maintained at all times. Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) will be accepted in lieu of BLS for Healthcare Providers. (Note: Employees are responsible for any costs (including time away from work) associated with obtaining PALS or PEARS certification if it is not a requirement of the position). ACLS will not be accepted as a substitute to the requirements listed above.

Preferred
Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) (or equivalent).

Compensation Range

$133247.00 - $199871.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.
