Surgical TechnicianJob Title: Surgical TechnicianProfession: Surgical TechnicianSpecialty: TechnicianDuration: 13 weeksShift: PM 4 × 10 hr shiftsHours per Shift: 10 hrsExperience: Minimum of 2 years of the last 3 in Operating Room. Level 1 Trauma experience (at least 1 year out of the last 3). Minimum of 1 year of travel experience in the last 3 years.Must-Have: Strong proficiency in General surgery. Expertise in Orthopedic procedures (total joints experience required). Experience in Neuro surgery (Crani & Spine experience required). Knowledge of Vascular surgery. Background in Trauma surgery. Experience with Robotics (DaVinci system; must be able to assist with Cardiac procedures). Familiarity with Transplant procedures (not a hard stop).Description: Cannot be a previous regular employee. All shifts will rotate between days, evenings, and nights. Call and weekend shifts are required. Call may occur on weekdays and/or weekends. Weekends can include Friday, Saturday, or Sunday shifts. Within 6 weeks, may have up to 3 weekend shifts of call. Weekend call can be either Saturday (24 hours: 7 AM - 7 AM) or Sunday (16 hours: 7 AM - 11 PM). More night shifts may be scheduled on Friday nights. No block scheduling is available. Call response time is expected within 30 minutes.
