ATTAIN, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in residential and community-based settings. DSPs play a vital role in helping individuals achieve greater independence, community inclusion, and quality of life while ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and meal preparation.
• Support individuals in developing independent living and social skills.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments, recreational activities, community outings, and other scheduled events.
• Administer medications and document services in accordance with agency policies and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and incident reports.
• Assist with behavioral support plans and promote positive behavior interventions.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, case managers, nurses, families, and other team members.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow all health and safety procedures.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (for driving positions).
• Ability to pass required background screenings and pre-employment requirements.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist individuals as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• One year of experience supporting individuals with IDD, behavioral health, child and family services, elder care, caregiving, or a related human services field.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
