Role Summary

The MRO Analyst is the "connective tissue" between maintenance teams and the global supply chain. You will be responsible for ensuring that critical spare parts, consumables, and tooling arrive on time to prevent assembly line downtime. Beyond tracking shipments, you will leverage data to analyze supplier performance, optimize inventory levels, and identify systemic bottlenecks in the MRO lifecycle.


Responsibilities

• Expediting & Tracking: Proactively manage the lifecycle of MRO purchase orders (POs). Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of critical repair parts and production consumables.
• Strategic Analysis: Utilize SQL and Python (via tools like Hex or Databricks) to analyze MRO spend, consumption patterns, and lead-time variances to improve forecasting.
• Supplier Management: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor performance. Hold suppliers accountable for delivery dates and lead the resolution of shipment discrepancies or quality issues.
• Inventory Optimization: Partner with MRO Crib Staff and Maintenance teams to audit stock levels, identifying "stock-out" risks and opportunities to reduce carrying costs for slow-moving parts.
• Cross-Functional Liaison: Bridge the gap between Maintenance Engineering, Finance, and Procurement to ensure "Emergency" requests are handled with speed while maintaining financial controllership.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years in supply chain, expediting, or maintenance operations, preferably in an automotive or high-volume manufacturing environment
• Technical Skills: * Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA (specifically the MM and PM modules).
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and project management tools like Jira.

Pay Disclosure

The salary range for this role is $63,300 - $79,100 for Normal, Illinois. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.

The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards.
