A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide onsite expertise in a vibrant K-2 setting. This contract, part-time position runs from September to October covering a maternity leave, with the potential to continue for the remainder of the school year. You’ll play a key role in shaping positive outcomes for young learners in an inclusive and caring community.
Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification
- Experience supporting K-2 student populations
- Familiarity with supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Skilled in providing tier II and III behavioral support
- Ability to adapt to students with a range of disabilities and behavioral challenges
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
Your Role Will Include:
- Supervising RBTs as they work with a diverse group of just under 500 K-2 students
- Providing direct and consultative support to staff, students, and families
- Implementing and monitoring effective behavioral interventions for students with multiple disabilities during the maternity coverage period
- Advancing tier II and III positive behavioral support strategies throughout the remainder of the academic year
- Collaborating with teachers, related service providers, and administrators to promote a supportive school climate
